Description
Over the years 98 Scottish footballers have played for or managed Worcester City Football Club. This who’s who starts with Tom Dilly in 1911 and goes up to the present day and lists 93 players, 2 player/managers 2 managers and 1 assistant manager. Many of these players have between them represented Scotland at almost every level of representative football and their honours are recorded. Other City players spent time with Scottish clubs and they are also included alongside Worcester-born Harry Clements who played in the 1908 Scottish Cup Final. 73 of these players have a separate chapter on their careers. Finally, there is a summary of the club’s only match against a Scottish club when East Fife visited St George’s Lane, Worcester in 1953.
The book is written by City Fan Douglas Gorman with profits from the book going to the Club
