Mechanical Engineer \u2013 Dynamometer Test Systems –
\u00A340-45K \u2013 CAD \u2013 PLM \u2013 CAE \u2013 Worcestershire
The client is a global company that specialises in designing, manufacturing, and supplying engine test equipment, and they are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Worcestershire site to work on the full product lifecycle of their products.
Main Duties:
* Working on the full product lifecycle development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
* Design and provide drawings for systems and components that meet needs and requirements
* Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components
* Conduct various testing methods to confirm system and product capabilities
* Evaluate final product\u2019s overall performance, reliability, and safetyKey
Skills:
* Over 5 years\u2019 experience working in mechanical engineering
* Experience of full Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
* Experience of CAE in either FEA, or CFD
* Experience using CAD (ideally Solidworks) for 2D, or 3D design
* Engineering analysis in ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar
* Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc
* Dynamometer engineering experienced preferred
The salary will be very \u00A340,000 – \u00A345,000 depending on experience, with the company able to offer more for exceptional candidates. There is also a generous benefits package available.
